Wipro Completes Acquisition of Harman's Digital Transformation Solutions Business

Indian technology services company Wipro (NSE:WIPRO, BOM:507685) has completed the acquisition of the digital transformation solutions (DTS) business unit, Harman Connected Services and its subsidiaries, from Harman International Industries.

In August, Wirpo had agreed to acquire Harman's DTS business for $375 million to expand its engineering research and development (ER&D) services, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian bourses.

Under the agreement, over 5,600 DTS employees, including key leadership, across the Americas, Europe, and Asia will transition to Wipro.
