FIS (FIS) said Tuesday it rolled out a deposit as a service platform for BMW Bank in Germany to support growth in its deposits and lending business.

The setup uses FIS K Core24 as the core banking system and FIS K e-Banking for online access as part of an embedded finance strategy, the company said.

BMW Bank moved more than 300,000 deposit accounts onto the new system when it went live in Q2, it said.

The platform is designed to streamline operations and offer a more secure, user friendly digital banking experience with tools such as two factor authentication and direct merchant transactions, FIS said.
