0646 GMT - Tongcheng Travel's international travel segment is likely to be a long-term growth catalyst for the company, says Morningstar's Kai Wang in a note. The segment has a higher monetization rate than its domestic low-star hotels business, he says. This higher rate could imply future margin expansion. He believes the international travel division could make up over 15% of its revenue in the long term. Meanwhile, he doesn't anticipate recent China-Japan tensions will affect Tongcheng's revenue as management appeared upbeat into 2026. "Our assumptions remain intact despite recent news of mass cancellations," he says. Morningstar retains its fair-value estimate at HK$27.00. Shares are up 1.3% at HK$22.02. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
