Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise in Friday Trading; Index Up 4.5% for Week

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were up Friday morning, rising 0.29% to 2,683.52 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index, which has gained 4.5% for the week.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by health platform 111 (YI) and mobile Cheetah Mobile (CMCM), which climbed 10% and 6.5% respectively. They were followed by

Computer hardware Canaan (CAN) and online video streaming service iQIYI (IQ), which increased 4.8% and 4.4% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by mobile big data platform Aurora Mobile (JG) and automotive marketplace Token Cat (TC), which were down 2.9% and 2.3% respectively. They were followed by game-centric live streaming platform DouYu International (DOYU) and used car marketplace Uxin (UXIN), which were dropped 1.6% each.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and lender ICICI Bank (IBN), which increased 3.1% and 1.1% respectively. They were followed by lender HDFC Bank (HDB) and IT firm Infosys (INFY), which were up 0.9% and 0.8% respectively.

The only decliners from South Asia were telecommunications operators Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK) and PLDT (PHI), which lost 4.5% and 0.9% respectively.
