Shares of Woodside Energy (ASX:WDS) and Santos (ASX:STO) fell as expectations rose of a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.
Woodside Energy closed 1% lower, and Santos closed almost 2% down on Thursday as the markets anticipate that a potential ceasefire would remove the Western sanctions on Russian oil supply.
