Parkway Life REIT Could Capture Singapore Healthcare's Growth -- Market Talk

0323 GMT - Parkway Life Real Estate Investment Trust is likely able to capture the Singapore healthcare industry's double-digit growth through variable rent, says UOB Kay Hian's Jonathan Koh in a note. Singapore hospital revenue of the REIT's sponsor, IHH Healthcare, has grown since 2023 and is likely to rebound on a half-on-half basis in 2H this year, the analyst says. This could help support rent at hospitals which are part of Parkway Life's portfolio, he notes. The REIT is considering asset enhancements at one of its hospitals, which could add incremental space, he says. The Singapore-listed REIT could also buy more assets in the city-state to fuel growth. UOB KH raises its target price to S$5.42 from S$5.34 and maintains a buy rating. Units are steady at S$4.02. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
