Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Secure Order Worth $147 Million; Shares Up 3%

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (NSE:SWSOLAR, BOM:542760) bagged an order worth $147 million, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction contract involves a 240 MW AC solar PV project in South Africa.

This is the company's second international project from South Africa this fiscal year. With this, the company is implementing four turnkey solar PV projects with four developers in the South African market.

The company's total EPC order inflows have crossed 50.9 billion Indian rupees in the current fiscal year.

Sterling's shares were up nearly 3% in recent trade.
