Market Chatter: Stellantis Has an Option to Exit Italian Robotics Company Comau

Stellantis (STLA) has an option to sell its 49.9% stake in Italian robotics company Comau to the One Equity Partners fund, the Corriere della Sera newspaper reported Friday.

The report stated that One Equity Partners has the right to acquire 100% of Comau within three years, while Stellantis can sell its stake starting in 2027.

One Equity Partners purchased a majority stake in Comau from Stellantis in 2024 at a valuation of 300 million euros ($345.9 million), including debt.

Stellantis and One Equity Partners did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
