DuPont de Nemours' (DD) planned sale of its Aramids business to Arclin has received clearance from the European Commission, the commission said Friday.
The proposed deal "would not raise competition concerns, given that the companies are not active in the same or vertically related markets," the European Commission said.
In August, DuPont said it agreed to sell Aramids to Arclin in a deal valuing the business at roughly $1.8 billion, with closing expected in Q1.
