Genesis Energy (NZE:GNE, ASX:GNE) reached a final investment decision for the construction of the Edgecumbe Solar Farm in the Bay of Plenty, according to a Monday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The construction is set to start shortly, with the first generation scheduled for the second half of fiscal 2027, the filing said.
Shares of the company fell 2% in recent Monday trade in New Zealand.
