Vodafone Plans to Sell AI, Cybersecurity to Businesses to Boost Dividend, CEO Tells FT

--U.K. telecommunications company Vodafone plans to sell artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to businesses to help fund higher dividends, Chief Executive Margherita Della Valle told the Financial Times in an interview.

--Della Valle said she is targeting revenue from business customers to make up roughly 50% of the total across the group in the medium term, up from between 25% and 30% currently.

--Della Valle said the growth required to maintain a "progressive dividend" would come from combining the group's traditional connectivity business with expanding digital services, especially for small- and medium-sized customers.
