Sector Update: Financial Stocks Rise Premarket Thursday

Financial stocks were rising premarket Thursday, with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) advancing by 0.8%.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 2.4% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 2.2% lower.

FinVolution Group (FINV) shares were down nearly 7% after the company reported a decline in Q3 adjusted earnings and cut its 2025 revenue outlook.

KKR (KKR) is seeking to raise $15 billion for its fifth Asia private equity fund, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter. KKR stock was up more than 2% pre-bell.

Deutsche Bank (DB) Chief Executive Christian Sewing said at a conference that the bank's return on tangible equity, a measure of profitability, will increase year-on-year in 2026, Reuters reported. Deutsche Bank shares were 0.1% higher premarket.
