The review, conducted by Minescope Services, highlighted tenure as the primary challenge currently facing the project, with the renewal of the key ML 05/2012/1D Mining Lease still pending. The uncertainty surrounding the lease renewal poses a significant obstacle to the project's progression and impacts its near-term viability. Additionally, a recent Mineral Resource Estimate update indicated a reduction in total contained gold, necessitating the identification of additional ore sources for future development. Besra's immediate focus will remain on engaging with government and stakeholders to secure the essential mining lease, with all other exploration and development activities on hold until this is achieved. Future technical and economic studies are contingent on the successful renewal of project tenure.
