Creative Media & Community Trust (CMCT) said Wednesday that it has agreed to sell its lending division to PG FR Holding, an affiliate of Atlanta-based Peachtree.
The company said it estimates the price to be $44 million, with net cash proceeds of about $31 million.
Shares soared 69% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 46.2 million from a daily average of roughly 43,000.
