CNOOC to Vote Dec. 10 on Contract Renewal with Actual Controller

Shareholders of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) (HKG:0883, SHA:600938) will meet Dec. 10 to vote on the renewal of an agreement with its actual controller, China National Offshore Oil, a Nov. 7 Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Shares of the Chinese oil and gas producer were up nearly 5% in Monday afternoon trading.

The new term of the agreement will be from Jan. 1, 2026, to Dec. 31, 2028.

Under the terms of the agreement, the parties will engage in the mutual provision of products and services.
