1110 ET - The grounding of all MD-11 cargo planes operated by United Parcel Service, FedEx and Western Global following last week's deadly crash in Louisville, Ky., could significantly affect capacity in the coming days, particularly on trans-Pacific routes where most of those planes operate, TAC says, citing sources. Air-freight rates rose in the week to Nov. 10, with the global Baltic Air Freight index at 2280.00, up 2% from the previous week, and down 3.7% from a year earlier, according to TAC.
