Boeing Delivers 53 Jets in October

Boeing delivered 53 jets last month bringing the total to 493 this year and putting the airplane maker on track for its highest annual total in years.

The planemaker said Tuesday it delivered 39 of its 737 Max jets, including nine to Southwest Airlines, five to Ryanair and five to AerCap. It also delivered 13 of its widebody jets, including seven 787 Dreamliners.

The month's deliveries put Boeing on pace for its highest annual total since 2018, when it delivered 806 jets.

Boeing also received 15 new orders in October, bringing its year-to-date order total to 836. Its order backlog is now 5,911.
