SkyWater Technology Shares Rise on Quantum Computing Collaboration with QuamCore

Shares of SkyWater Technology rose after the company agreed to collaborate with QuamCore to produce quantum computing equipment.

The stock rose 26% to $22.67 and is up 64% so far this year.

SkyWater said the collaboration includes a multi-million dollar contract focused on co-developing single-flux quantum devices, a kind of superconducting device, to advance practical, large-scale quantum computing.

The companies will develop a superconducting fabrication process optimized for integrating single-flux quantum digital control circuits with superconducting qubit arrays.
