Endeavour Silver revenue climbed in its third quarter, thanks to higher silver production and precious metal prices in the quarter.

The Canadian miner on Friday said revenue rose to $142.8 million from $53.4 million. The company said it produced 88% more in the quarter than a year ago, and sold more at a higher price due to increased commodity prices.

Silver production more than doubled to 1.77 million ounces, but gold production fell 22% to 7,285 ounces.

Net loss came to $42 million, or 14 cents a share, compared with a loss of $17.3 million, or 7 cents a share, in the comparable quarter a year ago.
