CITIC Securities (HKG:6030, SHA:600030) said its subsidiary, CITIC Securities International, guaranteed $6 million to CSI MTN for the issuance of medium-term bonds of the same amount, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
The guaranteed party is a special-purpose vehicle established for bond issuances.
The bonds issued are intended to supplement the group's working capital.
