Utz Brands' Shares Fall 5% in Early Thursday Trading After Reporting Fiscal Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Sales Rise

Utz Brands (UTZ) shares were down 5% in recent Thursday trading after reporting earlier fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings of $0.23 per diluted share, up from $0.21 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.23.
Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 28 were $377.8 million, compared with $365.5 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $374.6 million.
For 2025, the company reiterated it expects its adjusted earnings per share growth to be in a range of 7% to 10%, and now expects full-year organic net sales growth of 3%, compared with its prior outlook of 2.5%.
