Cloudflare Product, Engineering Head Departing for CEO Role

Cloudflare's President of Product & Engineering CJ Desai will step down from his role, effective Nov. 7.

Desai is departing the connectivity cloud company to accept a chief executive officer role at another company, Cloudflare said. The company said Thursday Desai will work at a notable, publicly-traded company, though its did not disclose the name.

Desai joined Cloudflare last year. He previously held roles as president and chief operating officer at ServiceNow and president of emerging technologies at EMC. He also previously ran various product lines at Symantec, and began his career at Oracle.
