Haier Smart Home (HKG:6690, SHA:600690) is eyeing an initial public offering of its internet-of-things unit Cosmoplat in Hong Kong, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The appliance company has hired China International Capital Corp. (HKG:3908, SHA:601995) and HSBC (HKG:0005) to help with the share sale, the report said.
