BUZZ-Medtronic, Abbott fall after CDMO cites slow adoption of some heart and nerve devices

** Shares of medical device makers Medtronic MDT.N fall 2% to $94 and Medtronic ABT.N 1.2% to $126.37

** Medical device contract development and manufacturing organization $(CDMO)$ Integer Holdings ITGR.N expects "sales of 3 new products to decline in 2026 ... 2 electrophysiology products and 1 new neuromodulation product for an emerging customer"

** The market adoption of these products has been slower than forecast - ITGR

** In our investor conversations, most are circling around pulsed field ablation heart devices, such as MDT's Pulse Select or Affera, ABT's Volt, or Johnson & Johnson's JNJ.N Varipulse - brokerage Citi

** There is less consensus regarding neuromodulation ... investors think it could also be something in MDT's portfolio or could also be Inspire's INSP.N obstructive sleep apnea implant - Citi

** Shares of ITGR down 30% and INSP down 2.3%

** "Boston Scientific BSX.N does not use Integer as a third-party manufacturer, to the best of our knowledge" - Citi

** Including session's move, MDT stock up 17.6%, ABT stock up 11.7%, ITGR 44.7% and INSP stock 57.1% YTD
