Altair Minerals (ASX:ALR) said that the field exploration program at the South Oko prospect in Guyana, part of the Greater Oko project, doubled, to consist of around 1,200 soil samples, 500 auger holes, and over seven km of trenching to define targets for the maiden drill program, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

Altair bought its own in-house excavator, auger equipment, and tripled the field geological team to execute upgraded programs.

The doubling of the scale of the program will not affect the drilling start date, it added.
