AT&T (T) revealed that starting Dec. 1, the monthly price of all its home internet plans will rise by $5, The Verge reported Friday, citing a company notification to customers and a confirmation from a company spokesperson.

AT&T spokesperson Jim Kimberly explained the increase is due to rising operational costs, stating the adjustment helps "maintain the high-quality service" customers expect, the report said.

The telecom company implemented a $5-per-month increase to some customers in 2023, and another $5-per-month hike from November 2024, the report added.

AT&T did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
