Sealsq said Friday that it would launch a post-quantum cryptography chip, develop Quantum ASICs and related IP, and create secure systems using chiplet-based architectures as part of its integration strategy for IC'Alps, the French ASIC design firm it has recently acquired.
Shares of the company were up 10% in recent Friday premarket activity.
The company said the first prototype is expected next year.
Sealsq said the combined company would offer secure hardware in the form of standard chips, custom integrated circuits, and security IP, meeting the growing demand for quantum-resistant and locally developed semiconductors.
