IBM (IBM) said Wednesday it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cognitus, a provider of SAP's (SAP) enterprise resource planning software SAP S/4HANA services.
Financial details were not disclosed.
The acquisition, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, is seen to boost IBM's SAP capabilities in aerospace and defense, energy and utilities, and manufacturing, IBM said.
