Firebrick Pharma (ASX:FRE) secured additional investment from its existing strategic investor, Pharma Nutria, of AU$102,000 via a placement of 1.2 million shares at a price of AU$0.085 apiece, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Pharma Nutria is an entity affiliated with the firm's licensing partner in the Philippines, SV More Pharma, the filing said. The current investment was requested by Pharma Nutria to restore its stake to above 5%, following Firebrick's recent placement of AU$1.4 million to other investors.

Firebrick's shares fell nearly 2% in recent trading on Thursday.
