Rajesh Power Services Bags Orders Worth INR9.22 Billion

Rajesh Power Services (BOM:544291) has secured orders worth 9.22 billion Indian rupees from Uttar Gujarat Vij Company, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The order is for turnkey projects for the conversion of existing 11 kilovolts (kV) high-tension (HT) overhead networks into underground cable systems and installation of 11kV medium voltage covered conductors (MVCC) across multiple locations in Gujarat, India.

The contract is expected to be completed within 18 months.

The company's shares were up nearly 2% in recent trade.
