Ameren CFO Named President of Ameren Utilities to Oversee Operating Utilities

Ameren (AEE) said Tuesday its Chief Financial Officer Michael Moehn will assume the newly created role of group president of Ameren Utilities, overseeing Ameren Missouri, Ameren Illinois, and Ameren Transmission Company of Illinois.

Ameren said Lenny Singh, currently chairman and president of Ameren Illinois, will serve as CFO of Ameren as well as chairman and president of Ameren Services. Patrick Smith Sr., currently senior vice president of operations and technical services, will succeed Lenny Singh as chairman and president of Ameren Illinois. Shawn Schukar will continue to serve as chairman and president of Ameren Transmission Company of Illinois.

The company said the changes are effective Jan. 1 and are intended to "drive consistent and continuously improving operating performance" and enhance the executive team's experience.
