BUZZ-Gold miners climb as bullion surges past $4,000/oz mark

** Shares of gold miners rise, as bullion prices hit an all-time high and soar above the crucial $4,000-per-ounce level

** Spot gold XAU= up 1.3% at $4036.91 per ounce, tracking higher bullion prices GOL/

** Top miners Newmont NEM.N and Barrick Mining ABX.TO, B.N rise 1.8% and 2.3%, respectively

** U.S.-listed shares of South African miners Gold Fields GFI.N rise 3.1%, AngloGold Ashanti AU.N gain 3.3% and Harmony Gold HMY.N up 2.5%

** U.S.-listed shares of Canadian miners Agnico Eagle Mines AEM.TOAEM.N and Kinross Gold KGC.N gain 1.6% each

** Sibanye Stillwater SSWJ.JSBSW.N gains 3.7%

** SPDR gold shares ETF UP 1.4%
