Vipshop Expected to Reverse Decline in Revenue Growth in 3Q -- Market Talk

1002 GMT - Vipshop is expected to report 2.5% on-year growth in revenue in 3Q, reversing the trend of declines seen in the past five quarters, Nomura analysts Jialong Shi and Rachel Guo say in a note. Nomura forecasts the e-commerce company to post 3Q adjusted net profit of CNY1.47 billion, up 12% on year. Nomura forecasts Vipshop's adjusted operating profit margin likely fell to 7.3% from a drop in gross profit margins to 23.5%. Nomura maintains a neutral rating on Vipshop's ADR, with a target price of $17.00. Its ADRs last closed at $19.09. (jason.chau@wsj.com)
