Chatha Foods (BOM:544151) has launched a ready-to-eat (RTE) and ready-to-cook (RTC) food range for the direct-to-consumer market under the brand UNIFAYRE, according to a Wednesday filing on BSE.
The products include chicken strips, chicken popcorn, and chicken wings, among others, the filing said.
A soft launch has been carried out across about 90 stores in Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, and Goa, with nationwide expansion planned over the next six months, it added.
The company also said its new vegetarian facility, with an annual capacity of 16,000 metric tons, is expected to begin production in early December.
Shares of the company rose nearly 3% in recent trade.
