China Resources Power Holdings Co. Ltd. reported its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2025. The company posted turnover of HK$50.27 billion, compared to HK$51.12 billion for the same period in 2024. Profit attributable to owners of the company was HK$7.87 billion, down from HK$9.36 billion in the prior-year period. Basic earnings per share attributable to owners of the company stood at HK$1.52, compared to HK$1.95 for the first half of 2024. The company reported total gross generation volume of operating power plants at 131.08 million MWh, with total net generation at 123.38 million MWh for the period, compared to 130.24 million MWh and 120.12 million MWh, respectively, in the first half of 2024. As of 30 June 2025, China Resources Power's attributable installed capacity rose to 78,094 MW, up from 62,758 MW a year earlier. The attributable installed capacity of renewable energy increased to 38,955 MW from 24,662 MW, accounting for 49.9% of the company's total attributable installed capacity at the end of the period, compared to 39.3% in the previous year. The company continues to invest in and develop clean and renewable energy projects, with 209 wind farms, 205 photovoltaic power plants, and 20 hydroelectric power plants in commercial operation as of the end of June 2025.
