European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Fall Thursday

European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were falling on Thursday morning, down 1.2% to 1,533.68 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by clinical-stage biotech company Evaxion (EVAX) and cybersecurity company Wisekey (WKEY), which climbed 28% and 10% respectively.

They were followed by clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Inventiva (IVA), which gained nearly 7%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk (NVO) and technology company Opera (OPRA), which fell 3.9% and 3.5% respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by Akari Therapeutics (AKTX) and mining giant Rio Tinto (RIO), which rose 5.4% and 2.7% respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by Adaptimmune Therapeutics (ADAP) and software company Endava (DAVA), which lost 11% and 3.5% respectively.
