Bank of China (SHA:601988, HKG:3988) fully redeemed tier 2 capital bonds amounting to 60 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
The 10-year fixed-rate bonds, which were issued in September 2020, were redeemed on its fifth year. The Chinese lender has the right to redeem the bonds on the fifth year.
