BUZZ-Mortgage lender Better Home set to double in value over last two sessions

** Mortgage lender Better Home & Finance's BETR.O shares surge 35% to $67.83

** Stock set to double in value over last two sessions

** BETR jumped over 46% in prior session after Hedge fund manager Eric Jackson called it "the Shopify of mortgages" on X.com on Monday and said his company EMJ Capital is long on the stock

** The New York-based online mortgage lender is "rebuilding a $15T industry from scratch with AI," Jackson said in his Monday's post

** BETR announced a debt restructuring deal with Japan's SoftBank 9984.T in April this year, since then its shares have more than trippled in value as of Friday's close

** Shares have also rallied over the past five consecutive sessions

** BETR did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment

** Co went public via a SPAC merger in August 2023; its shares had plummeted over 93% on their debut

** Meme stock Opendoor Technologies OPEN.O rallied in July after bullish posts from Jackson

** With session's move, BETR up 460% YTD
