Nukkleus (NUKK) said Tuesday that it has entered an amended agreement to acquire 100% of Star 26 Capital.

Financial details weren't provided.

This deal builds on an earlier announcement from December when Nukkleus planned to acquire 51% of Star 26 with an option to buy the remainder, the company said, adding that the transaction is still pending and requires shareholder approval.

Star 26 bought Rimon, an Israeli supplier of key components for the Iron Dome, and also took over 67% of smart hydration technology company Water.io, which recently announced a potential acquisition of Zorronet, a company developing artificial intelligence-powered unmanned control rooms and integrated security platforms. These businesses will be added to Nukkleus' growing defense portfolio after the deal closes, the company said.

Shares of Nukkleus rose nearly 14% in recent trading.
