Nukkleus shares rose after the company withdrew a filing to register 4.4 million shares for resale by shareholders.
The stock gained 18% to $6.04 in after-hours trading. At the close, it had lost 86% of its value.
Nukkleus has decided not to proceed with the offering and believes its withdrawal is consistent with the public interest and protection of investors, it said Monday.
Nukkleus in February filed to sell about 4.4 million shares in connection with its private placement that closed in December 2024. It also planned to register 225,000 shares in connection with various settlements, it said in a June amendment to the filing.
Earlier this month, Nukkleus priced its private placement, led with a $9.5 million investment from Esousa Group Holdings and a $500,000 investment from Sixth Borough Capital Fund.
