Peninsula Energy Produces First Uranium Yellowcake from Wyoming Plant; Shares Up 4%

Peninsula Energy (ASX:PEN) and its Strata Energy subsidiary produced the first yellowcake, a type of powdered uranium concentrate, from the Lance central processing plant in Wyoming, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The plant is designed to process uranium on resin from the company's satellite projects, allowing it to scale up towards its nameplate capacity of about 2 million pounds of dried yellowcake annually, the filing said.
Shares rose more than 4% in morning trade on Tuesday.
