Global Uranium and Enrichment (ASX:GUE) said the Powder River Basin, its 50-50 joint venture with Nasdaq-listed Snow Lake Energy, completed another 16 drill holes at the Pine Ridge project in Wyoming, delivering "encouraging" results, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Drilling hit intercepts of 3.5 meters at 540 parts-per-million (ppm) grade of triuranium octoxide from 321.3 meters, as well as 1.8 meters at 600 ppm grade of triuranium octoxide from 350.4 meters.
The total program of 125 holes, including 38,000 meters, is expected to be completed during November, per the filing. It confirmed and extended multiple redox boundaries across stacked sand horizons.
Global Uranium and Enrichment's shares rose nearly 2% in recent trading on Tuesday.
