Moolec Science's (MLEC) namesake unit said Thursday it received regulatory approval in Argentina for its safflower GLASO technology and appointed Valeria Falottico as chief financial officer.
The approval allows the company to expand its safflower crop enriched in gamma-linolenic acid.
Moolec said that Chief Executive Alejandro Antalich temporarily assumed the CFO role during the company's restructuring. Falottico has served in senior leadership roles in multinational organizations.
In the US, Moolec is advancing its safflower production season with duplicated acreage, compared with last year's crop, it said.
The company's shares were up nearly 12% in recent premarket activity.
