Shopify Operating Chief Steps Down

Shopify Chief Operating Officer Kasra Nejatian is departing.

Nejatian's last day will be Sept. 12, the e-commerce platform said Wednesday.

Shopify's executive team will assume Nejatian's responsibilities.

Nejatian was promoted to chief operating officer in September 2022, after serving as vice president of product, a role he continued to fulfill while head of operations.
