Samsara (IOT) lost a patent infringement complaint against rival Motive Technologies at the US International Trade Commission, FreightWaves reported Tuesday, citing the ruling.

The ITC judge ruled that Motive's artificial intelligence dashcams and gateways did not infringe on Samsara's patents with the full commission expected to review the decision, the report said.

Samsara did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Samsara shares fell 9.2% in recent Tuesday trading.
