CISI Units Subscribe to In-House Money Market Funds; Shares Gain 2%

China Industrial Securities International Financial Group (HKG:6058) said its subsidiaries subscribed to two in-house money market funds this year, according to Thursday's Hong Kong bourse filings.

Shares of the firm were up nearly 2% in Friday's mid-day trade.

Between Jan. 28 and Sept. 4, CISI Brokerage and CISI Capital subscribed to HK$174.3 million in the CISI Global HKD Money Market Fund.

The latest deal included a HK$158 million subscription by CISI Capital on Sept. 4.

Separately, the two subsidiaries also subscribed to $44.9 million, or about HK$352.3 million worth of units in the CISI Global USD Money Market Fund during the same period.

All subscriptions were funded from internal resources.
