Thai Beverage Issues THB38 Billion Worth of Bonds; Shares Down 2%

Thai Beverage (SGX:Y92) issued 38 billion baht worth of bonds, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.

Shares of the company were up over 1% in Monday trading.

The bonds comprise an initial principal of 28 billion baht and a greenshoe option of 10 billion baht.

The bonds have been assigned AA rating by Fitch Ratings (Thailand).

Proceeds raised from the activity will be used to repay existing debts.

ThaiBev falls 2.11% at 10:19 am, Sep 3.
