Ashok Leyland Enters Long-Term Tie-Up With CALB for Battery Development

Ashok Leyland (NSE:ASHOKLEY, BOM:500477) has entered into a long-term exclusive partnership with CALB (HK), according to a Monday filing on Indian exchanges.
The companies will collaborate to develop and manufacture batteries for both automotive and non-automotive applications. This also includes energy storage systems, the filing said.
Shares of Ashok Leyland rose nearly 2% in recent trade.
