China Eastern Airlines' H1 Loss Narrows as Revenue Rises 4%

China Eastern Airlines (SHA:600115, HKG:0670) reported 1.43 billion yuan in attributable loss for the first half of 2025, narrowing from 2.77 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.

Basic loss per share was 0.06 yuan, compared with 0.12 yuan in the prior year.

Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated a loss of 0.05 yuan.

Revenue rose 4.1% year-on-year to 66.82 billion yuan.

Analysts at Visible Alpha forecasted 68.61 billion yuan in revenue.

Shares of the company declined 1% in late-morning trade Monday.
