LY (TYO:4689) completed the cancellation of 63.4 million treasury shares, or 0.91% of shares outstanding as of July 31, according to a Wednesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The cancellation, resolved by the board on June 30 and Aug. 29, reduces the company's total shares outstanding to over 6.88 billion as of Sept. 3.
